THE MISSION OF TOUCHSTONE
Touchstone Youth Resource Services exists for the purpose of
spreading and encouraging growth in the gospel of Jesus Christ
through music, Biblical counseling, and teaching.
WE BELIEVE…
- God has given us a passion to make disciples and to help
them grow to Christian maturity;
- God has given us specific abilities in areas of ministry
having to do with music, counseling, and teaching;
- God has called us to use the resources he has provided to
carry out His work on earth to individuals and groups in and
outside
the church;
- The Gospel of Jesus Christ as it is set forth in the Bible
and in the basic tenets of Christianity expressed in the
Apostle’s
Creed and the Nicene Creed.
WE PROVIDE…
- Biblically-based counseling for individuals and couples,
and we offer small groups for individuals dealing with special
issues;
- Seminars that cover a wide range of subjects from basic
Bible topics to teen and family issues to song-writing and
music;
- Music for worship and group singing, as a tool for illustration
of Biblical truth, and as a form of self-expressive art and
entertainment from a Christian world view.
WE HAVE SEEN…
- Counseling and small group clients wrestle with difficult
life issues and find the comfort, healing, and challenge of
a deepening
faith in Jesus Christ;
- Groups from churches, schools, and the community at large
exposed to the truths of the Gospel and related, practical
information
on a wide range of topics;
- Teens and adults participate in worship that brings the
realities of their lives face-to-faith with the realities of
the Spirit
of God;
- Audiences and congregations enjoy concerts and special music
performances that admonish, inspire, challenge, encourage,
and entertain.
